The National Rural Health Students' Network (NRHSN) represents 29 Rural Health Clubs (RHC) with over 9000 members located at universities throughout Australia. The NRHSN is a multidisciplinary Network.

Program & Events

A Final NURHC Program is now available for delegates to download.  The program, although still to be finalised, highlights the excellent topics to be covered and the calibre of speakers who will present.

Day 1 of NURHC will include the official opening to the conference, Keynote Addresses by Sabina Knight and Malandirri McCarthy and presentations by some of our Rural Health Club members.  

Day 2 will begin with delegates choice of workshops, have a Keynote Address from Dr Janie Dade Smith and see the launch of the NRHSN Introductory Guide to Working in Indigenous Communities.

On Day 3 of the conference, we will see Keynote Presentations on topics such as Indigenous health: Where to next, after the intervention; Physicians Assistants and an Interactive Panel on the topic of Improving health workforce and health outcomes for rural and remote Australians.  The final day will allow for some Alice Springs sightseeing activities in the afternoon before the Formal Dinner to be held Saturday evening.
