NRHA Conference 2011

11th National Rural Health Conference, 13-16 March 2011

The 11th National Rural Health Conference themed “Rural and Remote Australia – The Heart of a Healthy Nation” was held at the Perth Convention Centre, 13-16 March 2011.

This biennial conference hosted by the National Rural Health Alliance (NRHA), belongs to Australia's rural and remote health community. It provides the exciting and premier opportunity for delegates from across the rural and remote sector to build networks, showcase developments on the ground & engage in important discussions to help guide the rural and remote health agenda. As one of the member bodies of the NRHA, the NRHSN was pleased to get behind this event!

A huge shout out to the fantastic crowd of 100+ students who joined us in Perth and injected an abundance of energy and enthusiasm into all the academic and social program had to offer.

Thanks go to Amy Stephenson, our fantastic NRHSN and student rep on the 11^th NRHC Conference Advisory Committee, Teena Downton and the NRHSN Exec for their work in the lead-up to and during the conference to support the strong student presence there.
