NRHSN Presentations

NRHSN members are encouraged to present papers on behalf of the NRHSN at conferences, particularly if they are receiving CoNS funding to attend the conference.  Below are some of our recent achievements.

NRHA National Rural Health Conference, Cairns May 2009

Factors affecting the career decisions of health students was presented by Luke Smith (2009 NRHSN Co-Chair) and Amanda Hall (National Program Manager) at the National Rural Health Conference.  The paper presented the results of a survey undertaken by the NRHSN to identify the factors that influence the career decisions of current health students, particularly focusing on factors that increase the likelihood of a student practicing in a rural or remote area.
