Early on Saturday 4 October, 7 CARAH members and 7 members from othe NRHSN clubs met in Alice Springs to drive out to Glen Helen Resort (130kms west of ALice Springs) for cross-cultural awareness and a Centralian experience. CARAH had organised 3 x 4WDs to take the group and after a quick roll check and introduction we all piled into the cars and headed to our first stop at beautiful Ellery Creek Big Hole. "The kids had a great deal of fun as did many of the teachers; it was great to be able to promote the health of these little ones and also encourage them to consider jobs in the health industry. We got a lot out of being able to work with the kids and are looking forward to another visit one day!" By Dianne Thorp - Click here to read more
