StARRH

The Northern Territory's Charles Darwin University joined the NRHSN  with their Rural health club StARRH (formerly TEHC) in 2007, and the Network is very pleased to have them on board.

If you are a student at CDU, please email StARRH to find out how you too can join up as a member and participate, maybe even help organise the many exciting events to be held in the near future.

To contact the club directly please email StARRH's committee, via the StARRH email.

StARRH at Yirrkala Health Centre

StARRH headed out to Yirrkala Health Centre in June 2009 to assist with promotion activities during their healthy school aged kids screening.  StARRH's Co-President, Ian Vickers said "not only did this opportunity help in improving our skills it also provided us with the opportunity to meet with and discuss a variety of issues relating to remote health with Aboriginal Health Workers, Doctors and Nurses."
