Indigenous Community Festivals are run all over Australia.  Rural Health Clubs link in with these festivals to deliver a healthy lifestyle and health careers planning mesage to primary and high school students to help encourage the next generation of rural health workers.

The NRHSN has participated in Indigenous Community Festivals over many years.

Cultural Awareness  

There have been many people ask if the NRHSN has any cultural awareness training or what they can do as a club to build links and partner with their local Indigenous community?  This has been discussed at the NRHSN Executive meeting  and is a high priority topic.
