The New England Rural Health Club for Health Alliance.
Fostering the Future of Rural Health
NERCHA is the University of New England branch of the National Rural Health Students’ Network (NRHSN). We aim to not only support students with a rural background but also foster interest in rural health equity in students from non-rural backgrounds.
We hold many events throughout the year open to all members. These include: Speaker nights, Rural High School Visits, Meet and Greets and Skills Days!
We encourage new students to join, including ones that are unsure about rural health or even want to learn a bit more about it.

It is Australia’s only multi-disciplinary student health network, bringing together people studying medicine, nursing and allied health, encouraging them to pursue rural health careers.

It has more than 9,000 members who belong to 29 university Rural Health Clubs from all states and territories. It is Australia’s only multi-disciplinary student health network, bringing together people studying medicine, nursing and allied health, encouraging them to pursue rural health careers.
