Multidisciplinary Rural Training Pathways

NRHSN Multidisciplinary Rural Training Pathway

The Multidisciplinary Rural Training Pathway resource was developed by the 2017 NRHSN Executive Committee to provide a point of reference for students interested in exploring undergraduate and postgraduate rural training opportunities. There are a number of exciting placements and bursaries available for medical, nursing and allied health students that provide the opportunity to experience rural health in Australia.

Each section of the Multidisciplinary Rural Training Pathway document includes information on the structure/arrangement of the training scheme, and we encourage students to follow the links provided to find out more. Please note that this resource was developed before January 2018 when the NRHSN was administered by the Rural Health Workforce Australia and not the current administrative body (the NSW Rural Doctors Network).
