Established in 2008, Kimberley Regional Alliance for Students in Health (KRASH) is a multidisciplinary student group based at the University of Notre Dame, Broome. We aim to encourage tertiary students to pursue careers in rural and remote health and reach communities in the Kimberley to educate high-school students about career opportunities in health. KRASH is operated by tertiary students who are passionate about rural and remote health.

We provide opportunities that support student-interest in rural health such as:

  • Rural high-school visits to encourage students to pursue careers in health
  • CPD opportunities
  • Information sessions about rural careers and placements

Membership is free to and open to Allied Health, Nursing and Medical students studying in WA.

By becoming a member of your Rural Health Club, you are also a member of the National Rural Health Student Network (NRHSN). The NRHSN represents the future of rural health in Australia. It has more than 9,000 members who belong to 29 university Rural Health Clubs from all states and territories. It is Australia’s only multi-disciplinary student health network, bringing together people studying medicine, nursing and allied health, encouraging them to pursue rural health careersIt is important to keep your details up-to-date to ensure your RHC and the NRHSN can keep you informed of everything exciting that’s happening in rural health.
