Vital Health services MM4-MM7 communities. The Modified Monash Model (MM) tells us about an area according to geographical remoteness and town size. You’ll note that areas classified MM 2 to MM 7 are considered regional, rural or remote. People living in these areas can find it harder to get medical help and accessing doctors can take longer and cost more. They need you!

“Vital Health Roma has given me the opportunity to meet like-minded people who all share the same passion for allied health services and their provision in rural QLD. What I really enjoyed was the positive and supportive community who works hard and can also show you a fun time! The experience for me was eye opening and gave me an important insight into what it means to be a rural generalist Physiotherapist. I added to my resume many volunteer days at the local rugby 7’s, 15’s and netball carnivals as well as utilising Health Workforce Queensland to boost my professional development areas. Living out west is an experience that you can’t have anywhere else – from the laid-back community to the beautiful scenery, you really can’t go wrong! I’ve been able to develop my own clinical skills with regular supervision sessions, chase beautiful sunsets and finally, I’ve met some life-long friends. As a new graduate, consider moving to the wild west as it really is everything that you make it.
