RHINO was founded in August 2000. RHINO aims to promote rural health issues and opportunities within the disciplines of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Biomedicine and Paramedic Science. We have a strong and deep passion for Indigenous and Cultural aspects within healthcare across this region and beyond.
RHINO provides many rewarding activities for its members which are both fun and educational – these include trips to rural locations across Northern Queensland, guest speakers from around Australia (and the world), skills nights, social events, conference attendance and heaps more!
We look forward to your support in 2021 across our three campus sites of Cairns, Townsville and Mackay.
