Rustica Scholarships
Rustica is currently accepting Scholarships applications.
All Rustica members are eligible for scholarships if they have been on a rural placement or attended a rural conference between the 15th of April and September 30th.

Rustica is pleased to announce that Nominations for the 2017 General and Executive Committees are now open.

The Rustica Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday the 8th of October at the Medical Science Precinct, Hobart.
Nominations close Friday 23rd of September .
NRHSN Executive Committee Nominations
Applications are now open for the 2017 NRHSN Executive Committee.
The following positions are available to be applied for:

Rustica Skills Night Launceston
Rustica is holding a Skills Night in Launceston for 4th Year Medical and Launceston Nursing students to be held on Thursday the 22nd September, from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Students will be able to choose 2 skills stations to participate in, to focus on skills development with stations being taught by local doctors.
Dinner will be included.
The stations offered on the night will be:
- Venepuncture/Cannulation
- Suturing
- Basic Life Support
- Lumbar Puncture/Arterial Blood Gas
- Airways

CARAH Health LEADS
CARAH Health LEADS: Building Rural and Remote Leadership is an opportunity for emerging health professionals to develop critical leadership skills under the mantra “better leadership equals healthier communities”.
Managed by Northern Territory PHN (NT PHN) and run through the CARAH Rural Health Club, Alice Springs this program is delivered in collaboration with Rural Health Workforce Australia (RHWA); Centre for Remote Health (CRH); University of Tasmania (UTAS) and the Health LEADS Australia Framework.
The trip includes a Health Leadership Program, Introduction to Aboriginal Culture and Rural High School Visits in the area.
Most expenses will be paid for by NT PHN
